Plot of Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained
Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained tells the story of twenty years after the defeat of King Orphnoch and the collapse of Smart Brain, Takumi Inui and his remaining allies attempt to return to normal life. The Japanese government has taken over the Smart Brain, using it to eradicate Orphnoch, with Nozomi Kitazaki appointed as the new president. An Orphnoch Rhinocerosbeetle awakens and kills two doctors, prompting Smart Brain to send Rena Kurumi, who transforms into Kamen Rider Muez to handle the situation.
Meanwhile, Keitaro Kikuchi embarks on a long journey, leaving his laundry business to Mari Sonoda, who sets aside her dreams of becoming a hairdresser to help out. Keitaro's nephew, Jotaro, helps run the business. Mari protects the Orphnochs alongside Masato Kusaka, who has mysteriously been revived. Naoya Kaido runs the second branch of the laundry as a ramen restaurant, which also helps the Orphnochs. Before disappearing, Orphnoch Takumi's body was destabilized, which caused symptoms of frequent dusting. He went for a walk and disappeared for several years, only to be found dying by Kitazaki, who brought him to Smart Brain.
During the food delivery, Hisao shows his Orphnoch nature to save an old woman, which puts Smart Brain on alert. Rena and the Riotroopers are dispatched, and Takumi, now Kamen Rider Next Faiz, is sent as backup. Takumi's unexpected return surprises his friends, but he attacks them, who are now allied with Smart Brain. A battle ensues, resulting in Hisao's death and Mari's group retreating. Takumi explains to Mari that Smart Brain saved her, and she must continue fighting Orphnoch. Mari couldn't accept this, believing in Orphnoch's potential to coexist.
Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained continues with Rena paralyzing Mari and activating her Orphnoch trait through an illegal procedure. Mari returns to the laundry without remembering the incident, but her new Wildcat Orphnoch powers appear during another Smart Brain attack. Takumi finds her and helps her regain her senses. At night, the two reconnect emotionally and physically, but their peace is shattered when the Smart Brain forces attack again.
Rena's love for Takumi makes her sacrifice herself to save him and Mari. As Kitazaki, now Kamen Rider Muez, fights Next Faiz, Kusaka, who turns out to be an android, attacks Mari and transforms into Kamen Rider Next Kaixa. When Muez defeats Next Faiz, Jotaro gives Takumi the original Faiz gear, allowing him to become Kamen Rider Faiz once again. Despite Muez using his predictive program, Faiz is able to overcome Muez and Next Kaixa's advanced systems. Takumi and Mari, now united in their fight, manage to defeat their enemies.
Kamen Rider 555 20th Paradise Regained ends with the threat of Smart Brain emerging as new androids, including another Kusaka, rise up to continue the fight. Back at the laundry, Takumi, Mari, and their friends try to enjoy a normal life. Takumi's condition seems to stabilize, giving hope for the future, but the battle for coexistence and peace between humans and Orphnoch continues.
