Boonboomger Gokaiger Collaboration Episode Synopsis
The Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode tells the story of Bundorio and his friends relaxing while enjoying scallop curry, but the newcomers and their friends who visited Hando's residence wore gloomy expressions. According to information received from fellow cosmic newcomers, the corruption of BBG and the situation experienced by Genba's father is much worse than imagined. Meanwhile, Kurumaju who was born from a treasure chest appears in the city and commits atrocious acts by stealing valuables from humans.
Taiya and his friends rushed to the scene, but Shishiro arrived too late and personally gave the Bunbun Changer to the Kurumaju. While everyone couldn't believe what they saw, Shashirou pointed his gun at Taiya. There was a man who fearlessly faced such chaos. This man who liked to be called the "enemy of the world" had a truly dynamic handling style.
Boonboomger Gokaiger Collaboration Episode Plot
The Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode begins at the Boonboomgers' base, Mira showing off her calligraphy skills as she writes signs to decorate the base for the New Year's party. As Taiya, Bundorio, and Genba compliment her, Jyo arrives carrying a box full of clams that her grandfather fished for her. The Boonboomgers ponder what to eat, so Mira suggests curry as usual, but Bundorio gets an idea for a dish while looking at the clams.
The Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode continues with Shirabe talking to Maimi Baisu at the ISA headquarters. Maimi lies to Shirabe that she didn't see anything suspicious while investigating the ISA higher-ups. Shirabe suspects that the documents Maimi checked may have been altered, but Maimi tells him not to think too much about it and to trust the ISA.
At Waruido Spindo's mansion, Grantu Risk warns his boss that Eiichiro Tokoyari may be planning something against the Hashiriyan. Spindo assures him that their collaborators on the planets they conquered always try to act against the Hashiriyan, but he always triumphs over them.
Back at the Boonboomgers' base, the Boonboomgers (minus Ishiro and Sakito) and Shirabe are having a meal to celebrate the new year. Bundorio presents his new clam curry, which he shaped to resemble a treasure ship. Mira says it looks more like a pirate ship, but he tells her it's not much different. As the Boonboomgers enjoy the curry, Sakito and Byun Diesel arrive. Bundorio offers them his curry, but Sakito tells him they'll eat later, surprising the other Boonboomgers. Taiya learns that the janitor has bad news about the Big Bang Grand Prix.
In the Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode, the Sanseaters also celebrate the new year with dinner, wishing each other that this year they can collect a lot of Ghassolin, impress the Spindo, and become important people. They then prepare to exchange gifts, as they do every year, but suddenly a Kurumaju – Takarabako Grumer – falls from the ceiling and steals their gifts. The Sanseaters are depressed because the Itasha says that she did not create this Kurumaju.
The Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode takes place back at the base, Sakito and Byun-D reveal to the Boonboomgers the information they gathered from their fellow cleaners: The Hashiriyans have a tight grip on the BBG, which they use as a source of Ghassolin by arranging races. They also reveal that Genba's father, King De Livery, has been accused of more crimes and his sentence has been extended, possibly in retaliation for Disrace's death.
Genba seems distressed upon hearing the news about his father, but he tells a worried Taiya that he will be fine. Shirabe and Byun-D note that the Hashiriyans can bend the rules to their will, and as a result none of Boonboomger's attempts to reclaim the BBG and prove Genba's father's innocence will succeed. Bundorio says that if they defeat Spindo on their own, the Hashiriyans will collapse without them.
Sakito asks Shirabe if she found anything about the ISA, but since he didn't get any information from Maimi, he changes the subject and asks Taiya if Ishiro's investigation has yielded any results. Taiya says that he hasn't heard from him for a few days. Just as he says that, Ishiro contacts him through the Boonboom Changer and tells him about the Kurumaju on the loose, but when he hangs up, it is revealed that he is in the car with Eiichiro Tokoyari, who tells him that they can now continue their journey.
Takarabako Grumer goes around stealing people's favorite things, such as a woman's guitar, another woman's bag and even two men's designer clothes, leaving them in their underwear. As she collects the treasure and locks it in her chest, the Sanseaters wonder if Grantu Risk is the one who created it, though Yarucar is still deflated about Kurumaju stealing their prizes. The Boonboomgers minus Ishiro arrive to fight Kurumaju, but mistake her for Scallop Grumer due to the scallops decorating her body. After Takarabako Grumer corrects them that she is themed like a treasure chest, the Boonboomgers transform to fight her. As they fight, a mysterious man in blue watches the battle from afar and recognizes the Boonboomgers.
Takarabako Grumer proves to be a formidable fighter as she manages to block all of the Boonboomgers' attacks and detransform them. She tries to find the Boonboomgers' treasure, but Ishiro arrives before them. To the Boonboomgers' surprise, Ishiro throws his Boonboom Changer at Kurumaju, who locks it in his chest! The Boonboomgers ask Ishiro what he just did, but he tells them that he did it on purpose.
Maimi, who was watching from afar, recalled the time when Ishiro made a deal with Tokoyari to join the ISA side. To prove his loyalty, Tokoyari asked him to give his Changer to the Kurumaju who stole what was most precious to people. Tokoyari told him that he was not a hero, but a denizen of the underworld. Spindo, who somehow felt the betrayal from his home, exclaimed that betrayal never gets boring.
Ishiro points his gun at the Boonboomgers, telling them that the ISA and the Hashiriyans are working together, and that there is nothing the Boonboomgers can do to stop their invasion. The Boonboomgers are shocked by Ishiro's sudden betrayal, and hope that he was only acting as part of a plan. Ishiro orders Taiya to disband the Boonboomgers, or they will be labeled as enemies of the world, something he does not want to happen. An enraged Sakito runs towards Ishiro to attack him, but Ishiro fires a warning shot right at his feet. However, Taiya refuses to disband the team, telling Ishiro that they will continue to follow their heroic path no matter what, because that is what it means to be a Boonboomger. Ishiro walks away as Takarabako Grumer continues her fight with the Boonboomgers and summons Nejiretta.
The Boonboomgers transform and begin fighting Nejiretta as the man in blue, Joe Gibken, takes out his Ranger Key and Moves and transforms into Gokai Blue as part of the surprise Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode. Just as Takarabako Grumer is about to attack the Boonboomgers, she is shot out of nowhere by a Ranger. As the blue pirate begins fighting Nejiretta, Bundorio and Byun-D recognize her as one of the Gokaigers, a group of space pirates whose name was once known throughout the universe. During the fight, Taiya and Joe seem to recognize each other as they fought together, though they brush it off.
Joe throws his Gokai Saber into Takarabako Grumer's keyhole and spins it, opening Kurumaju's chest and freeing all the items he stole, including Ishiro's Boonboom Changer. Joe transforms the changer into Bun Blue's Ranger Key, which he uses to Gokai Change into Bun Blue. The Boonboomgers are shocked, and Takarabako Grumer summons more Nejirettas. Joe borrows Jyo and Genba's Boonboom Change Axes, and uses them in staff mode to fight Nejirettas. He returns the Change Axes to their owners before performing the Final Wave with the Boonboomgers, destroying Kurumaju.
Joe returns the Bun Blue Ranger Key, who transforms back into the Boonboom Changer, back to the Boonboomgers, so they can bring Ishiro back to the team. Taiya wonders who the Ranger who just fought alongside them is, but Yarucar zooms in on Takarabako Grumer to get the Sanseaters' reward back. Bundorio and Byun-D transform into Boonboomger Robo and Byunbyum Mach Robo to fight the giant Kurumaju.
Joe, who was watching the battle from behind, was impressed by Mach Robo's skills, so he decided to lend him a helping hand and inserted the Gokai Galleon Key into his Mobilates. In response, Mach Robo was transformed by Gokai into GokaiOh , which shocked Sakito and Byun-D. After Sakito replaced the handle with his Boonboom Controller, he began fighting Kurumaju with his new giant robo. The two robos fought Kurumaju before using their finishers on it and destroying it.
After the fight, Taiya goes to see Joe and asks him why he fought. The two transform as Joe explains that Taiya's determination to keep fighting no matter what reminds him of his captain. He also gives Taiya a special necklace. He tells Taiya that a princess who loves to hold the helm asked him to give it to the Boonboomgers. Joe then says goodbye to Taiya and leaves.
Back in Tokoyari's car, the ISA director tells Ishiro that he has now proven that he has cut ties with the Boonboomgers. Ishiro doesn't like the fact that Tokoyari is enjoying this. After asking him to leave, Tokoyari asks Maimi to keep an eye on Ishiro, as he still doesn't fully trust him. He then calls Raita Naito and tells him to go ahead with his plan.
The Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode ends with Mira recognizing Nicola's pendant and remembering their adventure together at the Boonboomgers' base. Genba thinks this is some kind of message, but Sakito reminds the Boonboomgers that there is no time to worry about it because Ishiro just betrayed them. Mira and Genba are saddened by the memory, and Jyo even slams his fist on the table in anger. Shirabe is also worried that Ishiro will frame the Boonboomgers as enemies of the world. As if things couldn't get any worse, Bundorio arrives and shows Taiya that the ownership of all his bank accounts has been transferred to Lightning Tech. Taiya learns that Raita Naito has also betrayed him.
As part of the Boonboomger Gokaiger collaboration episode, Byunbyum Mach Robo Gokai Custom appears in this episode. Byunbyum Mach Robo Gokai Custom is an alternate formation of Byunbyum Mach Robo with the Gokaigers' main Gokai Machine literally transforming Byunbyum Mach Robo into Kaizoku Gattai GokaiOh, controlled by Sakito Homura and Byun Diesel. The mechanisms of Byunbyum Mach Robo Gokai Custom are Byunbyum Mach, Gokai Galleon, Gokai Jet, Gokai Trailer, Gokai Racer, and Gokai Marine.
